This walk explores several eras of Marrickville history from the 1922 town hall in Marrickville Road, through to the original 1878 town hall in Illawarra Road. It will wind through streets with their own often overlooked histories and hidden secrets. It is a fascinating fusion of over 3 centuries - 19th, 20th, 21st.
The walk is led by Chrys Meader who is a founding and life member of the Marrickville Heritage Society and has been a Marrickville local all her life.
