The HHA are hosting an intimate evening at Lindesay in collaboration with Amber Lane distillery. This will be a special evening of whisky tasting and tales of historic cellars.
Established in 2018, Amber Lane Distillery is a malt whisky distillery from the Yarramalong Valley on the Central Coast of NSW that is receiving rave reviews from Australian whisky aficionados.
Key to their success is the insistence on the use of large, well-seasoned, high-quality barrels which allows a longer maturation cycle. Amber Lane sources all of its ex-sherry casks from Fernando de Castilla in Jerez, each barrel at least 30 years old, and this imparts gorgeous rich Christmas pudding flavors to the whisky.
Distiller and whisky raconteur, Rod Berry has been a whisky lover for the best part of the last 2 decades. He is currently in great demand as a whisky presenter and educator and runs engaging events that irresistibly draw his audiences into a greater appreciation of the art and science of whisky.
