In a Historic Houses Association exclusive, go behind the scenes of 'Silchester', designed by the renowned architect Leslie Wilkinson, Australia’s first professor of architecture.

Gain access into the Spanish Mission-style apartments, built for Sir Joseph Cook in 1930, and admire the finest expression of the style, including double-hung timber sash windows with louvred timber shutters, French doors and enclosed and open balconies and grilles.

Beforehand, stroll alongside the grand mansions that make up this part of Bellevue Hill, including 'Ginahgulla' (Fairfax House), 'Caerleon', 'Trahlee' and 'Rona', and end with afternoon tea with a view!

Open to HHA Members only and spaces are limited, book now to avoid disappointment. Join HHA online at hha.net.au/memberships or by calling 02-9252-5554.

Proudly supported by a Woollahra Municipal Council Placemaking Grant
