Join custodian Dr James Broadbent on an exclusive guided tour of 'The Cottage' in Mulgoa. 'The Cottage' is of State significance as one of the oldest weatherboard-clad dwellings in NSW and probably the oldest occupied residence in Australia.
Built in 1810, it was the home of William Cox, best known for supervising the construction of the first road over the Blue Mountains.
Admire the relatively intact early Georgian cottage and its surrounding pastoral landscape setting. Hear stories of the Cottage building itself and early attempts at farming and viticulture in the Sydney region.
Plus enjoy light refreshments on this rare opportunity to visit a piece of Sydney history.
Places are extremely limited. Tours are at 11:00am and 12:00pm
